Dr. David Leung

DMD, Cert. Perio, FRCD(C)

Dr. David Leung was raised in Toronto, Ontario, attending Upper Canada College for 11 years. He then studied Finance and Biochemistry at New York University before completing his dental degree and periodontics training at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine.

After 11 years in Philadelphia, Dr. Leung returned to Toronto. He has been in private practice for 20 years and has been placing dental implants since 2001. He serves as a clinical instructor at the University of Toronto and lectures regularly at schools and conferences in the United States. He is a board-certified Periodontist with the RCDC.

Dr. David Leung specializes in gum grafting, periodontal disease and implant therapy. His philosophy focuses on keeping your natural teeth, pursuing more advanced techniques only when more conservative options are no longer available. He wants his patients to understand the value of good oral health and hygiene before pursuing any treatment, while providing a calm and stress-free environment.

He spends his downtime with his wife and family, chasing around his young sons to keep him fit. He enjoys playing tennis and watching his Philadelphia Eagles football team.

Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

Dr. Steven Leung

DDS, MD, FRCD(C)

Born and raised in Toronto, Dr. Steven Leung pursued his dental education at Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. Following dental school, he completed a surgical internship at the University of Pennsylvania before returning to Case Western Reserve University to complete his specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, during which he also earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree.

Dr. Leung is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon and has been a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada since 2010.

His clinical interests include wisdom tooth removal, dental implant surgery and bone grafting procedures. With a strong emphasis on patient comfort and safety, Dr. Leung is particularly passionate about helping patients who experience dental anxiety. He offers intravenous (IV) sedation and deep sedation to help patients feel comfortable and at ease throughout their surgical experience.

Outside of his practice, Dr. Leung enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two daughters. When he's not busy with family life, he can often be found on the tennis court.
